NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management

The NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management is a qualification for those with fire safety responsibilities in the workplace. It is already established as a popular qualification with over 7,500 candidates having already achieved the qualification.

The course is aimed at Managers and supervisory staff who need to ensure that their organisation meets its responsibilities under fire safety legislation. Courses leading to this qualification should equip holders to carry out fire risk assessments of most low risk workplaces and identify the range of fire protective and preventative measures required. It is therefore also suitable for people moving into fire safety adviser roles.

Management Systems Lead Auditor

Every workplace is at the risk of a fire starting, but are your employees aware of how to prevent fires, and what to do in the event of a fire emergency at work. This course is designed for those people who have responsibility to aid the evacuation of persons in the event of a fire.

Lead Accident Investigators course

It is a requirement that all work premises undertake a risk assessment covering processes that may involve the use of materials that could cause a risk of harm to employees from fire, explosion or energetic releases.  This covers flammable gases, solvents, vapours, dusts, incompatible chemicals and self-heating (spontaneous ignition).

Level 6 NVQ in Occupational Health and Safety

We know that learning in a classroom and having your competence tested via formal exams is not for everyone. NVQs assess your practical skills and the application of knowledge in the workplace instead.

This qualification is aimed at health and safety practitioners who wish to achieve a recognised qualification in occupational safety and health management, for those wishing to progress a career in health and safety, and for those seeking Chartered Membership of IOSH.

Level 3 NVQ in Occupational Health and Safety Practice

The Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) is a popular course for those who are undertaking a supervisory role within a construction company.
